Caring for your Clothing items

We use DTG to print your personalised clothing.

What is DTG Printing?

Direct To Garment (DTG) printing is a printing method that sprays the ink onto the garment directly. It allows for high-quality, precision printing of vibrant and detailed designs. Unlike other garment printing methods, DTG uses eco-friendly, water-based inks that absorb into the fabric, giving your T-shirt a softer feel and ensuring the print is as durable as the shirt itself.

Caring for Your DTG Printed Cotton T-Shirt:
To keep your personalized DTG-printed cotton T-shirt looking gorgeous, follow these care instructions:

Wash Inside Out: Always turn your T-shirt inside out before washing. This helps protect the printed design from abrasion and heavy agitation.

Cold Water Wash: Use cold water for washing your shirt, as high temperatures can break down the ink over time and cause fading.

Gentle Cycle: A gentle or delicate cycle on your washing machine is preferable to avoid excessive friction on the printed area.

Use Mild Detergent: Avoid bleach and fabric softeners, as they can degrade the print. Stick to mild detergents that are kinder to your unique T-shirt.

Air Dry When Possible: Whenever you can, let your shirt air dry naturally. If you do use a dryer, choose a low-heat setting to prevent shrinking and protect the design.

Iron With Care: If you need to iron your shirt, do so inside out to avoid direct contact with the print. Never iron directly on the design.

Following these tips will help maintain the integrity of your DT&M-printed T-shirt, ensuring that it stays soft, vibrant, and treasured in your wardrobe for years to come.
